This saint of God was a great defender of our faith. He never compromised his faith with fame or wealth. He was exiled because of his refusal to evil request of the Empress Theodora.

Interestingly. He knew that this refusal would cost him his life, but was not deterred. He lived for Christ, suffered for Christ and died for Christ in 537.
