DIED:  JUNE 15, 1601.

Saint Germaine is usually called the saint of suffering and sickness because of her withered right hand from birth; this also led to her being paralysed. She never experienced love from childhood after the death of her mother. Her dad and stepmother ill-treated her and forbade her from associating with her step brothers and sisters.

Remarkably, her soul was in constant touch with God. She took delight in praying the Rosary and attending daily Masses in sun and rain.

She shared her little and poor nourished food given to her with the poor, children and neighbours. She was one of the Saints that their saw no corruption.
