This saintly pastor of the God had an outstanding option for the poor. He was an eloquent preacher and an exemplar of the faith.

He experienced several persecutions but bore them silently and patiently. He was also a counselor of both the poor and the wealthy.

He died a faithful servant of God.

Over his tomb was built a renowned monastery at Soissons.
