This Saint was nicknamed “Beggar of Rome.” He tried joining the Trappist Monastery and two other Orders but was refused by all of them. Not giving up his zeal to serve God, he made many visits to many Shrines in Europe and finally settled in Rome. He was a strong devotee of the Blessed Sacrament.
He participated in the forty hours devotion to the Blessed Sacrament in the city of Rome.
He died on April 16 1783.
Reflection:
Let us assiduously serve God in good and bad times, no matter the inconveniences.
