St. Landericus was a good imitator of his master Lord Jesus in loving and caring for the poor and the lowly. He worked so hard to provide food and shelter for the poor of his Diocese
He built the first hospital in the city which he dedicated to Saint Christopher. This hospital later became the famous Hotel-Dieu and continued to help the poor in the vicinity.
This child of God also provided spiritual care to his flock. As a team worker, he invited the Benedictines into the Diocese and gave them his full support and encouragement for the service of the poor of Christ.
He died a fulfilled Christian.
